Considerations for joining our Neuro Diversity Indoor Playtime. 1.The parent or guardian or caregiver must remain on premises at all times. Only a parent or guardian can reserve space or sign waivers. 2.If it will be helpful to your child, a support person is allowed to be with your child/children as necessary. 3.There will be areas in the gym that will be blocked off completely to insure the utmost safety. There will also so be many areas blocked off with easy access retractable barriers so you as a parent are not chasing your child around and your child will only be able to go in that area if you desire it. This will include the bathrooms, front lobby, front doors and such. 4.We do sell water, soda, and Capri Suns, but we still do not have a communal drinking fountain due to covid. Please bring a water bottle for your child if you would like . We do have a refillable filtered water station in our kitchen area to refill water as needed. 5. If your child has down syndrome, we will need a doctors release after obtaining an x-ray to be sure your child can safely participate. Not all children with down syndrome present with more severe Atlantoaxial Instability, but if your child has this, this type of playtime and exercise can cause a severe injury that can be catastrophic so we will need to have this ruled out before your child can participate. Safety is our primary concern with this requirement. 6.Our facility is 15,000 square feet, and we will be limiting this indoor play to 12 children to be sure that there is plenty of space to be in and explore . You will need to pre sign up for this each week. You may still pay at the door as long as your online space is reserved ahead of time. 7.The legal parent or guardian must sign the waivers and reserve the space. A grandparent, nanny, or support person cannot do that. Once signed, a grandparent, nanny, or support person can bring the child as long as they know that they will need to be be able to be with the child the entire time and the child will need to be comfortable with this person to be a care giver during this playtime.
